Crochet the Perfect Earrings

One crochet pattern can include many different projects: alter the entire upshot of the piece simply by altering the dimensions of the crochet hook and yarn you use. Create a pair of earrings using simple shaping; the lightweight thread and small hook is likely to make the earrings delicate and light on your ears, yet stunning at the same time.

Make three chain stitches using crochet cotton thread along with a size US C crochet hook. Join the final stitch to the first with a slip stitch.

Make one chain making six single crochet stitches within the circle you’ve made in The first step. Join the past stitch to the first using a slip stitch.

Make three chains, then make a double crochet stitch in the stitch from the last round in the base of these three chains. Make two double crochet stitches in every remaining stitch across the circle, then work with a slip stitch to join the past stitch to the top from the first three chains you have made.

Make three chains, then slip stitch inside the first stitch in the circle. Make three chains and slip stitch within the following stitch; continue this across the circle.

Cut the working thread, leaving a 4-inch tail. Pull this tail using your last stitch to tighten it. Thread this tail onto an embroidery needle and weave it interior and exterior the stitches within the circle to cover up it.

Repeat Steps 1 through 5 to produce a second earring. Dip the earrings into a small dish of liquid starch, then gently squeeze out your excess and lay the earrings flat to dry.

Attach an earring-hook finding to the outer edge of your circle earring and set them within your ears.
