The Method to Make Zelda Earrings
2013年3月14日 趣味In line with the storyline of "The Legend of Zelda" series, three goddesses named Din, Nayru and Farore descended upon the entire world and came up with land of Hyrule. Within their wake, they forgotten the Triforce -- a holy relic with powers that could be useful for good or evil, depending upon the heart of the user. The Triforce consists of three parts: Power, Wisdom and Courage. Zelda, the princess of Hyrule, is often depicted in Nintendo artwork wearing earrings crafted as the Triforce. It is possible to show your affinity for the "Legend of Zelda" series by crafting your own personal Triforce earrings.
1
Rub the polymer clay relating to the hands and knead it to warm it before use. Mold polymer clay in to a triangle. Adapt the dimensions of the Triforce for your own preferences. Continue doing this process to create the next earring.
2
Insert a head pin in to the bottom of each and every triangle and push it from the top. Remove the head pin. Preheat a typical kitchen oven to between 265 and 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Look at the instructions for the specific make of polymer clay first.
3
Place both clay earrings onto a baking sheet and insert into your kitchen oven. Clay should be baked Quarter-hour for each and every 1/4 inch of thickness.
4
Remove the clay in the oven and enable it to chill.
5
Paint both Triforce earrings using yellow and black acrylic paint. Paint the earrings yellow and enable the paint to dry, then paint an inverted triangle in the center of each earring.
6
Work with an acrylic lacquer on the top of the earrings and permit it to dry for shine, if desired. Insert one head pin with the bottom of each Triforce again. Use round nose pliers to bend a loop to the surface of each head pin. Attach the looped end with the head pin for the bottom with the earring wire.
7
Use wire cutters to get rid of extra wire in the earring wire or wrap extra wire around the top of the headpin.
