A Stretch Magic necklace is probably the simplest jewelry designs to produce in the home. Probably the most difficult aspect of creating a Stretch Magic necklace is choosing the beads and arranging these to you could make your design. Assembling the necklace is not a worry; you do not need a clasp whenever you create a necklace with Stretch Magic. The only jewelry tools you will need will be the own two hands.
1
Select the color and style of beads you need to use for your Stretch Magic necklace. You’ll find a wide variety of beads from semiprecious gemstones to shells to glass at your local craft store or from online retailers. Stretch Magic will come in eight colors, including clear, that will work with any kind of bead. It is also available in thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to at least one.5mm.
2
Arrange the bead design to your necklace over a bead design board. Bead design boards have a groove with measurements alongside which means that your beads won’t roll away while you you could make your arrangement.
3
Cut an overall length of Stretch Magic cord comparable to the duration of your necklace, plus another six inches for knotting. Place a paper clip three inches from end from the cord. The paper clip will keep the beads from falling the cord when you thread them.
4
Thread the beads to the Stretch Magic cord down towards the paper clip. Continue threading the beads based on your design. You should have three inches of cord left at the conclusion of the bead strand.
5
Remove the paper clip and tie the 2 ends of one’s necklace together in the tight square knot. Thread the leftover Stretch Magic cord back to the beads around the necklace. Cover the knot with liquid jeweler’s glue for additional security.
